I Met a Real Llama!

On June 9th, my friend and I went to the Greenwood Public Library for the American Girl Club about the new American Girl Chrissa. As a part of the club, you get to meet a real llama just like in the book and movie Chrissa.

The llama I met was out of its cage and it was white. People make yarn from sheep and llama's wool. Let me tell you how they color yarn. They can use Kool-Aid. I got a chocolate chip cookie from Paradise Bakery and Cafe and it was delicious. Inside the library, there was Llama Jeopardy and the prize - a free bookmark.

Here are some pictures of it.

Book Review: Princess Sonora and the Long Sleep

Queen's Edit:  The Eldest Princess will occasionally blog about the books she reads for our Royal Library's Summer Reading Program.  This is one such book.

The book I read today was Princess Sonora and the Long Sleep.  The author's name is Gail Carson Levine.  Some of the characters are Prince Melvin XX, Queen Hermione II, King Humphrey II, Princess Sonora, and Prince Christopher.  The book is mainly about when Princess Sonora was a baby she got a gift of being ten times as smart as any human in the world.  One day she pricked her finger on a spindle and she fell asleep for a hundred years.  Everybody that's not past the garden didn't fall asleep.  Prince Christopher from Kulornia came to save Princess Sonora.  He kissed her and she woke up.  Prince Christopher was curious so he asked Princess Sonora all the questions he had.  Since she was so smart she could answer them.  My favorite part was when Prince Christopher kissed Princess Sonora.  I would recommend this book to: my friends and other kids.  I give this book 10 Tiaras!

Welcome to My Blog

I'm a new Blogger.  I'm about to begin the Second Grade.  In the Second Grade there will be a Spelling Bee.

Three things I am looking forward to this summer are: maybe going to Holiday World, the library's summer reading program, and my birthday.  My blog will be about stuff I like, my family, and books that I read this summer.  I hope that you like reading it.

Today I am going to church.  I can't think of anything else to say.
